The complaint distribution is based on the 1-star reviews on the Saffron Building Society Trustpilot page (55) as of 8 October 2026; one person's reviews count once, and records about fake sites and third parties using the Saffron Building Society name are left out. Across the complaints, online account opening getting stuck at the password step, mortgage applications that dragged on or were declined at a late stage and unanswered calls and messages stand out.
