According to its official website, Taiwan Business Bank (TBB) traces its roots to June 1915; on 1 July 1976 it took its current form as Taiwan's first bank dedicated to financing and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and it was privatised on 22 January 1998. The bank is listed on the Taiwan stock exchange (2834) and headquartered in Taipei; overseas it has branches in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, Brisbane, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Wuhan and Tokyo. The Sydney branch is located at Suite 601, Level 6, 60 Carrington Street. The branch offers Australian residents, non-residents and Australian-registered companies savings and term deposits in AUD, USD and major currencies, short and long-term loans (including home, commercial, construction and syndicated loans), guarantees, letters of credit and collections, remittances and currency exchange.
