According to its official website, BACB (British Arab Commercial Bank) is an international wholesale bank established in 1972 and registered in the UK as a public limited company; its head office is at 8-10 Mansion House Place, London, and it is owned by three sovereign shareholders. The bank says it provides trade finance solutions for trade flows to and from developing markets, especially Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and has offices in Abidjan, Algiers and Tripoli. Its products are trade finance covering letters of credit, guarantees, bonds and collections; treasury services including foreign exchange, money market, fixed income and swaps; and real estate finance for commercial and high-value residential properties in London and England. According to the Bank of England list and the FCA register, the bank is authorised by the PRA and regulated by the FCA and the PRA; the site states that eligible deposits are protected up to GBP 120,000 per person or company by the FSCS.
