According to its official website, Creation is a consumer finance brand that is part of BNP Paribas Personal Finance and says it has been providing finance for more than 50 years. Working with UK electrical, furniture and home improvement retailers and motor dealerships, it offers individuals retail finance (Currys flexpay account, Flexible Finance Account, B&Q FlexiPlan), personal loans, credit cards and motor finance. Creation is the trading name of two companies: Creation Financial Services Limited (FCA 313153), which administers credit card accounts and has its registered office in Solihull, and Creation Consumer Finance Limited (FCA 311518), which provides personal loans, motor finance and retail finance and has its registered office in Belfast; the site says both are separately authorised and regulated by the FCA.
