According to its official website, Global Exchange is a non-bank financial institution operated by Global Exchange Ltd (trading as Smart Money) that provides international money transfers and currency exchange from the United Kingdom. The site says operations started on 5 April 1995 at 54 Ealing Road, Wembley, that the company later opened three more branches and that it focuses mainly on the Sri Lanka corridor.
