According to its official website, Habib Bank Zurich is the UK entity of the Habib Bank AG Zurich group, founded in Switzerland in 1967 and headquartered in Zurich. The group began operating in the UK in 1974 as a branch; in 2016 the UK-incorporated Habib Bank Zurich plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Swiss parent, took over the branch's business.
