According to its official website, RandCrypto is a digital asset platform built around the South African rand (ZAR); users can buy and sell crypto-assets against the rand or USDT and follow ZAR pairs such as BTC, ETH, SOL, AVAX, DOGE and XRP. Account opening, trading, deposits, withdrawals and custody take place in the RandCrypto app; the website is informational. For large trades there is an OTC desk priced off the public order book; the desk also converts rand to USDT and routes EUR or USD payouts to beneficiaries abroad. Companies, trusts and other legal entities have a separate onboarding path with multi-signatory accounts. According to its terms of use, RandCrypto is the trading name of Exclusive Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd (EAS), based in Cape Town; the company is authorised by the FSCA as a Category I crypto asset service provider (FSP 53473) and registered with the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC).
