The site says it processed the UK's first open banking-enabled payments in 2018, supports 21 markets, processes about 20% of UK open banking payments and works with firms such as HSBC, Santander, BNP Paribas, Global Payments, Computop and Paysafe. Its products include account-to-account payments, variable recurring payments (VRP), real-time payouts and withdrawals, and data solutions; the services target businesses in sectors including ecommerce, crypto and iGaming. The site says Token.io Ltd is authorised by the FCA to provide payment initiation and account information services (795904) and that Token GmbH in Germany is authorised by BaFin and the Bundesbank for the same services (158595); for its settlement account product Token.io Ltd is a distributor of the e-money institution Modulr FS Limited.
