According to its official website, Trusted Novus Bank is Trusted Novus Bank Limited, registered in Gibraltar (company no 03936); its roots go back to A.L. Galliano Bankers Ltd., founded in 1855, and the site presents it as Gibraltar's oldest bank. The bank was bought by Jyske Bank in 1987 and traded as Jyske Bank (Gibraltar) Ltd, was sold in 2019 to the Gibraltar-based Rooke Investments Ltd and has used the Trusted Novus Bank name since 2020. The site says it serves more than 3,000 clients with personal, private and corporate banking, offering current accounts, fixed term deposits (minimum GBP 10,000), mortgages, loans, Lombard loans, investments and cards, plus NetBank online banking. The bank is regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) (permission no 3207); according to the Bank of England list and the FCA register it is a Gibraltar bank that may accept deposits through services in the UK, and its FCA status is 'EEA Authorised'.
