According to its official website, Vunani Securities is a full-service stockbroker member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). Vunani Securities (Pty) Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of JSE-listed Vunani Limited; the site says the company was established in the late 1990s, that client services are run from its Sandton offices and that it is a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor. Its business is organised in three divisions: Trading, which provides institutional investors with multi-asset sales and execution; Vunani Capital Markets, an institutional back-to-back bond and money market broking business; and Vunani Transition Management, which manages portfolio transitions. The firm also offers trading on other African exchanges through agreements with selected stockbrokers in those countries, ESG and economic research (with the Bureau for Economic Research at Stellenbosch University) and, through third-party providers, structured products and fixed deposit notes.
