According to its official website, Worldpay is a payment processing (merchant card acquiring) company for businesses of all sizes; the site's logo states that Worldpay is now part of Global Payments, and its board links lead to Global Payments investor pages. The site says it serves small and mid-sized businesses, large enterprises and software platforms, and processes $2.3 trillion a year for enterprise clients. Products include in-store card machines and the Worldpay 360 POS system, online payments and payment links, a virtual terminal, omnichannel payments, fraud prevention and authentication, dispute (chargeback) management, routing and authorisation optimisation, marketplaces and embedded payments, payouts, virtual card issuing, multi-currency solutions, business cash advance and gift and loyalty cards. The small business page says applications can be made online and that a minimum 18-month contract applies. In the FCA register Worldpay (UK) Limited is authorised as an e-money institution and Worldpay AP Ltd. as a payment institution; both are based at The Walbrook Building in London.
