According to its official website, Alpha Group is a London-based financial services group that since 2009 has offered corporates and private markets firms currency risk management, interest rate hedging, global accounts and payment solutions. The group is part of Corpay, Inc. (NYSE: CPAY), listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and trades through its wholly owned subsidiaries Alpha FX Limited and Alpha FX Europe Limited. The site says Alpha FX Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom to provide regulated products and services (FRN 770377), is authorised by the FCA as an Authorised Electronic Money Institution (900849), and is registered with FINTRAC in Canada and with Revenu Québec as a money services business; according to Companies House the company was incorporated in 2004 and traded as Alpha Forex Limited from 2009 to 2013. Alpha FX Europe Limited in Valletta is said to be authorised by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) for investment services and for issuing electronic money and providing payment services. It offers currency transactions from spot contracts to hedging products and over-the-counter derivatives, payments to more than 200 countries in over 145 currencies and local accounts with IBANs in the client's name, delivered through an online platform and senior advisers.
