According to its official website, Amazon Pay is an online payment service that lets Amazon customers pay at other online stores with the payment and address details stored in their Amazon account, without creating a new account. The footer of the UK site lists Amazon Payments UK Ltd. in London; the site states that the service is part of Amazon, is free for shoppers and that eligible purchases are protected by the A-to-z Guarantee. For businesses it offers a payment solution for enterprises and small and medium-sized merchants; the service integrates with platforms such as BigCommerce, Stripe, WooCommerce, Adobe Commerce, VisualSoft and PrestaShop and includes fraud protection. Shoppers can track their transactions at pay.amazon.co.uk. According to the FCA register, Amazon Payments UK Limited has been an Authorised Electronic Money Institution since 15 Jul 2026; the site itself does not quote an FCA reference.
