According to its official website, Banking Circle is a Luxembourg-based bank built more than 10 years ago alongside the fintech revolution; Banking Circle S.A. is authorised as a credit institution in Luxembourg, supervised by the CSSF, and has branches in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany. The bank works only with regulated financial institutions, providing acquirers, card issuers, cross-border payment and account providers, banks and digital asset institutions with multi-currency accounts, payments, foreign exchange, treasury management, deposits, money market funds, liquidity, agency and correspondent banking via API. The site states that it does not serve private individuals and that it provides (virtual) IBANs to its clients, which assign them to their own customers. In the UK, Banking Circle S.A. UK Branch (London, EC4N) has been authorised by the PRA as a third-country branch since 30 November 2023 and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA. This information is the company's own statement.
