According to its official website, BCR is a forex and CFD broker that has been operating for more than 18 years (the homepage also says "more than 20 years") and states that it has offices in seven countries. BCR Co Pty Ltd (company no 1975046), which operates the international site thebcr.com, is incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and states that it is licensed and regulated by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (SIBA/L/19/1122); its registered office is in Road Town, Tortola. WikiFX links the brand to the ASIC-licensed Australian company Bacera Co Pty Ltd; thebcr.com does not mention this company, and the site says it is not intended for residents of Australia, Hong Kong, Canada and the US. Payments are processed by Open Bridge Limited in England. The company offers forex, metal, energy, index and ASX and US share CFDs through Standard, Elite and Alpha accounts and their cent versions on MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and the BCR Trader mobile app; the minimum deposit is 50 USD on cent accounts and 300 USD on standard accounts, and leverage is up to 1:500. The site states that only thebcr.com and cfds.thebcr.com are its official domains. The group's Australian entity BACERA CO PTY LTD (AFSL 328794) holds an AFS licence from ASIC.
