According to its official website, BIC-BRED (Suisse) is the short name of Banque Internationale de Commerce – BRED (Suisse) SA. Present in Geneva as a branch since 1991, it became a fully fledged Swiss bank after receiving a banking licence from FINMA in August 2015. The bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of BRED Banque Populaire, one of the main parent companies of Groupe BPCE, France's second largest banking group.
