According to its official website, CMT UK is a London-based company providing integrated payment and in-vehicle technology solutions for the licensed taxi industry; it says it has more than 14 years of experience, has installed over 9,500 payment systems and serves some 13,000 London taxi drivers. In its taximeter-linked system the fare is passed to the PIN pad in the passenger compartment; all major cards, Apple Pay and contactless payments are accepted, with a tipping prompt. Drivers can choose to be paid once or twice a week or every day; the company says it honours all fares regardless of chargebacks. It also offers ARRO, its sister platform that dispatches jobs to the driver screen, taxi rank waiting-time data and 24/7 phone support. The head office and workshop are in Park Royal, with a second workshop in Canning Town. The site states that Creative Mobile Technologies (UK) Ltd is authorised by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 (register number 798771); according to Companies House the company was incorporated in 2012.
