Plateforme d’échange de cryptomonnaies · Royaume-Uni
According to its official website, CoinJar was founded as a cryptocurrency exchange in 2013 and says it serves more than 800,000 investors worldwide; it says its investors include Blackbird and DCG Group. For UK users it offers GBP deposits via Faster Payments and crypto purchases by Visa/Mastercard, buying, selling and storing more than 60 cryptocurrencies, recurring purchases (DCA), Bundles, CoinJar Exchange with TradingView integration, business accounts and support seven days a week; for institutions it has CoinJar Clear, the CoinJar Custody solution with BitGo and Fireblocks, and an OTC desk for trades above USD 50,000. The site says its UK exchange services are provided by CoinJar UK Limited, which is registered with the FCA as a cryptoasset exchange provider and custodian wallet provider under the Money Laundering Regulations (MLRs) (FRN 928767); the FCA's MLR registration is an anti-money-laundering registration, not an investment-services licence. In the EU, CoinJar Europe Limited is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA, and in Australia CoinJar Australia Pty Ltd is registered with AUSTRAC as a virtual asset service provider. This information is the company's own statement.

The complaint distribution is based on the latest 1-star reviews on CoinJar's Trustpilot page (91) as of 8 October 2026; one person's reviews count once, and records about fake sites and third parties using the CoinJar name are left out. Across the complaints, crypto transfers and withdrawals held under review for days, questionnaires about recipient wallets and source of funds, and accounts closed without explanation stand out.
