According to its official website, Commonwealth Bank of Australia London Branch is the UK branch of Australia's Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA); the bank has been present in Europe since 1913, has more than 180 staff in the region and its London office is at 60 Ludgate Hill. Drawing on its expertise in the Australian market, the branch offers corporate clients global markets products, capital markets services and currency term deposits. Currency term deposits are offered only to eligible counterparties and professional clients, with a minimum amount of USD 1,000,000 (or the foreign currency equivalent) and terms from 30 days to one year. The site says the London office does not provide over-the-counter banking for visiting Australians.
