According to its official website, Dukascopy is a Swiss bank offering forex and CFD trading, founded in Geneva on 2 November 2004 by Andre and Veronika Duka; its headquarters are in Geneva. The site says Dukascopy Bank SA is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA both as a bank and as a securities firm; international clients outside the EU and Japan contract directly with this Swiss bank. The group's EU entity, Dukascopy Europe IBS AS, is an investment brokerage company in Riga licensed by Latvijas Banka, and Dukascopy Japan K.K. is registered with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau as a Type I financial instruments business operator. The company offers JForex (SWFX ECN), MT4 and MT5 accounts as well as binary options, managed accounts and a multi-currency bank account; forex, precious metals and index, commodity, share/ETF, bond and crypto CFDs are traded on JForex 4, JForex Web and Mobile, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and the JForex and FIX APIs. The minimum deposit is 100 USD; on international accounts leverage is 1:100 by default and up to 1:200 on request. This information is the company's own statement.
