According to its official website, Fidelity Digital Assets is the digital asset business that grew out of Fidelity Investments' research into bitcoin and blockchain and began serving clients in 2019; it offers a custody and trading platform to institutional clients. The site lists secure custody, execution with access to multi-venue liquidity without moving assets out of cold storage, the Fidelity Digital Dollar (FIDD) stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, and collateral accounts; its offices are in Boston, London and Dublin. Custody and trading are provided by Fidelity Digital Assets, National Association, a national trust bank.
