According to its official website, GBE brokers is the brand of GBE brokers Ltd, which has operated since 2014 and is headquartered in Limassol; the company says it is regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under CIF licence 240/14. Its Hamburg branch in Germany is registered with BaFin under ID 10148129; the site also lists a representative office in Dubai and the Seychelles-based GBE Global brand (gbebrokers.global), and redirects non-EU residents to that site, which it describes as FSA-regulated. The company offers more than 1,000 CFD instruments on forex, metals, shares, futures, indices, bonds, cryptocurrencies and commodities through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and TradingView. The minimum deposit is 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000 USD for the GBE Classic, GBE Pro and GBE VIP accounts respectively. Retail leverage is up to 1:30 on major currency pairs. The site says a Lloyd's insurance policy gives additional protection of up to 300,000 EUR per client on top of the Investor Compensation Fund, and that 77% of retail investor accounts lose money.
