MetroRemit is the money transfer brand of Metro Remittance (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of the Philippines-based Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank). As of 8 October 2026 the official site metrorem.co.uk only contains a contact form and points visitors to www.metroremit.com, which could not be opened because of a TLS error. According to the app description the service is aimed at Filipinos living in the UK; money can be sent to Metrobank accounts, to accounts at other Philippine banks, for cash pick-up at Metrobank branches and more than 10,000 partner outlets, by door-to-door delivery or to e-wallets such as GCash and PayMaya. The fee schedule shows online bank transfer, in-branch card and cash payment options, with fees that vary by transfer amount. According to Companies House the company was incorporated in 2002.
