According to its official website, Monek is a payment provider offering card payment acceptance to UK businesses from small businesses to enterprises; the site says it serves more than 18,000 merchants and has over 26 years in payments. Monek Merchant Services Ltd is an Authorised Payment Institution authorised and regulated by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 (FRN 920628); its registered office is in Lichfield, merchant funds are safeguarded in designated UK trust accounts, and the site's copyright notice names Monek Group Limited. Services include online payments and hosted checkout, PAX card machines from GBP 25 a month, pay by link, a virtual terminal for phone payments, a developer API, EPOS and Xero integration, a WooCommerce plugin, merchant cash advance and buy now pay later. The site says it offers small businesses a 0.99% blended rate with next-day settlement, IC++ pricing at higher volumes, and white-label and reseller programmes.
