According to its official website, myPOS is a payment company that offers card acceptance and payment solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. The site says myPOS is a trademark of myPOS World Ltd. in London, that payment and e-money services in the UK, Gibraltar and Switzerland are provided by myPOS Payments, an electronic money institution authorised and regulated by the FCA (FRN 900826), and in the European Economic Area by myPOS Ltd, licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland (C475122). The company states that it started in 2012, was presented in 2014 as the first platform offering instant payouts, serves more than 30 countries, moved its headquarters to London in 2017 and has more than 400,000 merchants. Products include card terminals such as myPOS Go 2, Flex, Ultra and Unattended for vending machines, Tap to Pay on phones, online checkout, payment requests and payment links, a virtual terminal, WooCommerce integration, a business account, business cards and revenue-based financing. The site says the business account has no set-up or monthly fees, card payments reach the account within seconds, and the transaction fee consists of a percentage of the amount plus a small fixed fee.
