According to its official website, Rand Swiss is a Sandton-based South African firm that describes itself as a boutique wealth manager and full-service securities broker and says it has received Investors Monthly awards. Two securities broking accounts are offered: the Active Trading account, opened with a minimum of ZAR 25,000, giving access to forex, commodity and index futures and local and international equities and CFDs on the Velocity Trader platform; and the Private Broking account, opened with a minimum of ZAR 2 million, giving multi-currency access to bonds, ETFs and local and international equities on the DMA platform. Managed solutions include model portfolios (with minimums of USD 50,000 for Global Equity, ZAR 250,000 for SA Equity and USD 19,000 for Future Tech AI) and structured products; custody is provided through Citibank, Fidelity and Swissquote. The firm also says it offers offshore transfers to more than 60 countries in over 25 currencies, tax clearance support, retirement and tax planning, wills and trusts, and life and income protection advice, and that for its forex services it is SARB approved and regulated by the FSCA.
