According to its official website, RCI Bank UK is the UK savings bank of RCI Bank and Services (today Mobilize Financial Services), the banking arm Renault set up in 1974; RCI Bank is a trading name of the UK-incorporated RCI Bank UK Limited and launched in the UK in 2015. Its UK base is in Rickmansworth; the site reports more than 130,000 savings customers. The bank offers online savings accounts: the Freedom Savings easy access account (minimum initial deposit 100 GBP), 14 and 95 day notice accounts, fixed-term accounts of 1 to 5 years (from 1,000 GBP) and a 2 year fixed-term Cash ISA. Accounts are managed through the website and the mobile app, with phone support seven days a week; the site says deposits are protected by the FSCS up to 120,000 GBP. According to the Bank of England list and the FCA register, RCI Bank UK Limited is authorised by the PRA to accept deposits and is regulated by the FCA and the PRA.
