The company was registered on 21 August 2006 as NOMOS INVESTMENT (CYPRUS) LIMITED (company number HE 182457), received CySEC licence 081/07 on 31 October 2007 and was renamed RONIN EUROPE LIMITED on 9 April 2009; it is headquartered in Limassol (19 Promachon Eleftherias). Its shareholder is Ronin Partners B.V. The site says it offers brokerage with access to leading exchanges worldwide in fixed income, equities, currencies, futures, OTC and derivative markets, personalised portfolio management based on risk appetite and investment horizon, and custody through direct accounts at Euroclear and safekeeping solutions in markets such as mainland China, Hong Kong, India and Korea. The licence is said to cover brokerage, portfolio management, investment advice and dealing on own account, plus ancillary services such as safekeeping, margin dealing on the securities market and underwriting-related services. The site also stresses that it has no link to RONIN MANAGEMENT B.V., which was sanctioned by the US Treasury on 19 May 2023. Group company Ronin EM Limited (HE 400137, Limassol) holds CySEC crypto-asset service provider (CASP) licence 017/24 under MiCA and offers institutions, asset managers and professional clients crypto exchange, custody, order transmission and execution, OTC liquidity and tokenisation services.
