According to its official website, The Dealing Room is the trading name of SFX Dealing Room (Pty) Ltd, a financial intermediary registered with the FSCA under the FAIS Act; it states that it is a Category I authorised financial services provider under FSP number 44909. The company says it is approved by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) as a registered Treasury Outsourcing Company, has agreements with authorised dealers to use their treasury structure, is registered with the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) as an accountable institution and is a SAATA member. For individuals it offers the R10 million foreign investment allowance (with a tax clearance certificate), the R1 million discretionary allowance, non-resident funds and inward transfers; for businesses it offers import and export payments, CFC accounts, cross-border payments, exchange control and SARB applications, foreign loan applications and trust payments. Spot, next-day and forward contracts as well as stop and limit orders are available; transactions are processed in the client's own name and from the client's own account, and the company says it charges zero percent commission.
