According to its official website, UBS AG London Branch is the London branch, registered in England and Wales under number BR004507, of UBS AG, incorporated in Switzerland with registered offices in Basel and Zurich; UBS AG is authorised and regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). The site says UBS has more than 160 years of experience and established its UK wealth management presence in 1999; today more than 120 advisors serve over 15,000 clients. The UK site offers private clients wealth planning, investment and wealth management, UBS e-banking UK and, for holders of a UBS cash account, fixed term deposits from GBP 10,000; it offers institutions asset management, funds and ETFs, and investment banking. According to its documents, UBS AG is authorised by the PRA and subject to regulation by the FCA and limited regulation by the PRA; the Bank of England list and the FCA register also show the London branch as authorised by the PRA to accept deposits. The site says UBS AG London has been part of the UK Authorised Push Payment (APP) scam reimbursement scheme since 7 October 2024. The group's Australian entity UBS AG (AFSL 231087) holds an AFS licence from ASIC.
