According to its official website, Xe is an international money transfer and foreign exchange brand with roots going back to 1993, owned by the Nasdaq-listed Euronet Worldwide group; the site says transfers can be made in 130 currencies to more than 190 countries. In the United Kingdom, Xe Money Transfer is provided by HiFX Europe Limited (registration number 462444), whose registered office is in Bracknell (1 Arlington Square) and which the site says is authorised by the FCA under the Payment Services Regulations 2017. FX options and structured products for business clients are provided by HiFM Ltd (FRN 446302), presented on the site as a sister company and stated to be authorised and regulated by the FCA; the site says these services are not available to retail clients. Business services include international payments, forward contracts, limit orders, mass payments and a payments API. Group companies include Xe Europe B.V., authorised by the Dutch central bank (DNB), HiFX Australia Pty Limited, licensed by ASIC in Australia, HiFX Limited in New Zealand, Xe Corporation, registered with FINTRAC in Canada, and Dandelion Payments, Inc., which the site says holds money transmitter licences in US states including New York.
